Commission members are available to speak on a variety of safety topics. For more information or to schedule a speaker, email publicsafetyed@comcast.net.

Purpose
The Public Safety Education Commission serves in an advisory capacity regarding public safety and health issues as addressed through citizen education. The commission provides support and service to appropriate City departments with such support and service limited to public educational and informational activities and resources.

Meetings
First Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Call (901) 751-7600 for specific location information.

Germantown seniors are invited to join public safety officials from the Germantown Police and Fire Departments on Thursday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, to hear the most up to date information on home and personal protection. Topics will include personal safety, internet safety, scam prevention, and neighborhood watch practices. A complimentary box lunch will be provided.

Space is limited, so reservations are required. Call the Parks and Recreation office at 757-7376 to secure your reservation. This event is sponsored by the Germantown Senior Citizen Advisory Commission.
