Purpose 
Serves as an economic development tool for the recruitment of new businesses and employment opportunities to our community, negotiates and accepts from corporation lessees payments in lieu of taxes.

Meetings 
The IDB meets on the third Thursday in January, May, August and November at 4 p.m. at the Economic and Community Development office, 1920 South Germantown Road. 

Members 
The commission consists of five members and includes Chairman Henry Evans, Vice Chairman Mike Harless, Janet Geyer, Rocky Janda, Juliet Klein, Steven Levy and Michael McLaughlin. Staff includes City Administrator Jason Huisman, Economic and Community Development Director Cameron Ross.

Presented by the Germantown Neighborhood Preservation Commission, the tour features homes in Germantown that have been recently renovated or relanscaped. From large scale renovations, to small improvements, there is something for everyone!
