Meetings
The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.
Members
The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Germantown Night Out

Residents will be turning on their front porch light, locking their door and heading outside to pause and celebrate Germantown as a safe community. Some neighborhoods will be hosting a large gathering and others are getting together in small groups.
October is Crime Prevention Month and is a great time to recognize the people who work all year tirelessly to prevent crime. Together with Germantown Night Out, residents will have the opportunity to visit with Eddie Eagle, McGruff the Crime Dog, Ollie the Otter, Germantown Police Officers, Fire Department, Aldermen and City Officials.
