Ranger Reserve Informational Session

Love spending time outdoors? Ever wondered what it’s like to be a park ranger in one of Germantown’s 29 community parks? The Germantown Parks and Recreation department is looking for interested individuals who want to join our team as Ranger Reserves. There is no greater reward than giving back to the community. Germantown Park Ranger Reserves greatly enhance and expand the environmental awareness, safety and visitor services offered by Germantown Parks and Recreation. The Reserve Park Ranger Program provides supplemental personnel for routine park ranger activities and broadens the department’s ability to handle special events, natural resource management and routine park patrol.

For those interested in serving or who wish to learn more, the Parks and Recreation department will host an informational session on Saturday, February 17, at 10 a.m. at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The session will include a short presentation followed by a Q&A segment.

To learn more about the Ranger Reserve program or to apply, contact Cody Herron at CHerron@Germantown-TN.gov or (901) 751-7684.
