Purpose
The Economic Development Commission advises the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on matters that affect the economic life of the community. The Commission also advises on local economic issues relevant to long-term planning and development of the city. It also helps to promote economic stability, vigor and balance within the business community. Additionally, the Economic Development Commission helps in encouraging business retention and productivity.

Meetings
First Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Economic and Community Development office, 1920 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members, including Chairman James "Bo" Adams, Matt Monteath, Bruce Meisterman, Jabin Newhouse, Brandon Toney, Cliff Sulcer, Melissa Kimbrough, Michele Johns, Dane Williams, Mark Ruleman and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

HOW TO ACCESS THE MEETING:

 

The public will have access to the Design Review Commission meeting via television on Comcast Ch. 17 and AT&T U-Verse Ch. 99, as well as real-time live video.

The City of Germantown and the Design Review Commission encourage active participation and engagement with governing by making available public commenting for each item as part of the meeting agenda. Please send your submittals, 500 words or less, to DRCPH@germantown-tn.gov and must include your name, address and phone number. In the subject line, please write the agenda item number and project name (eg. 5A - Forest Hill Grill). All emails submitted by the scheduled meeting date, no later than 12 pm, will be delivered to the Commission prior to the 6 pm Commission Meeting.

 

In Person:

Individuals wishing to speak in person at the Design Review Commission meeting about a specific item on the agenda may sign up in the lobby (called People Street) upon arrival.  Please limit all public comments to 3 minutes.
