Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
April 11, 2022

  • The City is in receipt of a request for a permit from Kings Lane Germantown MGMT, LLC to sell beer for on-premise consumption at Courtyard by Marriott, located at 7750 Wolf River Boulevard. 
  • The City is in receipt of a request from The Down Syndrome Association of Memphis for a temporary beer permit to sell beer for on-premise consumption at the Get Down and Derby fund raiser, to be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 4 pm until 9 pm at the Great Hall & Conference Center, located at 1900 S. Germantown Road.

These requests will be considered by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, sitting as a Beer Board, at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 6 p.m.  Anyone for or against these beer permit requests is invited to attend.
