Julie Christen, or Julie InJoy, believes that every single one of us is creative. She wants to help older adults rediscover their creativity in a way that brings joy through step-by-step acrylic canvas paintings for any season in a single session.

Presented in partnership with Creative Aging, each session is led by talented artists. Creativity enhances one’s sense of control, offers social engagement, enhances physical and mental functioning, and improves attitude. All sessions are free and take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike unless otherwise noted. Pre-registration is required and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
