Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.
Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.
Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
April 24, 2023
The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request from the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf – Speech and Hearing Center of the Midsouth for a temporary beer permit to sell beer for on-premise consumption at their 12th Annual Speakeasy to be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm at the Great Hall & Conference Center, located at 1900 S. Germantown Road.
This request will be considered by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, sitting as a Beer Board, at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 6 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
Anyone for or against this beer permit request is invited to attend.
