Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request from the Germantown Christian 49ers, Inc. for a temporary beer permit to sell beer for on-premise consumption on Saturday, September 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 8 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at the Germantown Festival located at the Germantown Civic Center Complex. This request will be considered by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, sitting as a Beer Board, at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 6 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Anyone for or against this beer permit request is invited to attend.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Germantown will hold public hearings on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 6 pm, in the Germantown City Hall Council Chambers, 1930 S. Germantown Road, to discuss the following ordinances:

• Ordinance 2024-1 – Year-end Budget Adjustments – Second Reading
• Ordinance 2024-2 – GMSD Year-end Budget Adjustments – Second Reading
• Ordinance 2024-3 – FY2025 Budget – Second Reading 
• Ordinance 2024-4 – Real & Personalty Property Tax – Second Reading
The entire budget is available on the City website at Germantown-TN.gov/FY25Budget. 
 
CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen welcomes comments from citizens and offers the agenda item known as Citizens to be Heard at each meeting.  To participate, please complete the form provided outside of the Council Chambers and present this form to the City Clerk prior to the meeting.
