The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is a positive and realistic approach to prepare citizens for emergency and disaster situations. Through training, citizens learn basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization and disaster medical operations. CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace when professional responders are not immediately available to help during a disaster or emergency.

The course will be taught on the following schedule:
Friday, March 31, 5 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, April 1, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, April 8, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided. Lunch on Saturdays will be on your own. The course requires a minimum of 10 participants and has a maximum of 20. Course applicants will be notified by March 1 if the class will be conducted or not. If you have multiple members from your family, civic or church group, please fill out a new form for each individual. To apply, click here.
