Julia Cruz Magness is originally from Austin, Texas, where she performed with The Original Bells of Joy gospel group in Austin Texas for over a decade. Julia moved to Memphis in 2016 and now sings at the Peabody Hotel, the Gold Strike Casino, Hard Rock Cafe and on the Riverboat dinner cruises. Julia can be heard on songs by artists that include Gary P. Nunn, the Push Stars, the Moeller Brothers and Bracken Hale.

In partnership with Creative Aging, each session is led by talented local artists. Creativity enhances one’s sense of control, offers social engagement, enhances physical and mental functioning and improves attitude. All sessions are free and take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted.
