Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Night Rider Family Bike Ride

Games and festivities 6 p.m., ride 7:15 p.m.
Fee: $10
You don’t want to miss this family-friendly night of fun! Participants are encouraged to decorate their bicycle or tricycle. A size-appropriate helmet is required for all riders. The Germantown Police department and Park Rangers will assist with the ride. Music by DJ Rockin’ Robin will follow. Registration closes on Friday, October 11 at 5 p.m. Register online at Germantown-TN.gov/Registration or at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street.  T-shirts are only guaranteed for those who register before September 26. Pick up T-shirts at the Parks and Recreation office on Friday, October 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce. There is no event day registration.
