Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

The Germantown Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration to collect unwanted prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 26. Not all prescription drugs are eligible. The DEA cannot accept aerosol inhalers, liquids, needles or sharps. Only pills or patches will be accepted. GPD is encouraging residents to bring unwanted medications to be disposed to the Kroger located at 7735 Farmington Boulevard. Residents can drive up to the curb by the GPD tent and drop off unwanted prescriptions without getting out of their vehicle. This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
