Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

If you’re thinking ‘it won’t happen to me’ when it comes to needing help as you age, you aren’t alone. But the need for care often comes anyway. Attend a free workshop where Thrivent financial advisors Taylor Agee and Randy Austin will explain how best to prepare for the kind of care you want. Dinner will be provided for those who RSVP in advance. Pre-registration is required and begins October 22. Ages 18+.
