Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

50+ Group: Sewing Club

Mondays, August 26, September 23, October 14, 28, November 1, 25, December 9, January 13 and 27, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Instructor: Debbie Hochstein

Fee: $3 per session or $15 punch card for five sessions (first-timers are FREE)

No need to bring any supplies. We will have the sewing machines along with some starter fabric and thread. As sewing skills improve, each participant will supply their own materials as needed. Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with snacks and drinks while learning how to sew.
