Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Fee: $3 per session or $15 punch card for five sessions (first session is FREE)

Chair yoga is a gentle yoga practice designed to increase strength, flexibility and balance. Seated and standing postures will be integrated throughout the class with the assistance of a chair. The class is suited for all levels of yoga practitioners. Whether you are new to yoga and looking for a gentle practice or you are addressing a physical limitation, chair yoga can be a great way to make the poses more accessible and contribute to your physical and mental health well-being.
