Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

The City’s Economic Development Commission will host the inaugural Germantown Business Owner’s Summit on October 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Great Hall & Conference Center. This event is designed to empower both new and established business owners by offering valuable insights from City leaders and successful local entrepreneurs. Attendees will participate in panel discussions on planning, engineering, code compliance, and more, with opportunities to network during breakfast and lunch.
