Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

It is that time of the year to plan to take the most adorable and probably the most popular pet photos with Santa Claus and/or the Grinch to share with your friends and family. The Friends of the Germantown Animal Shelter will be hosting a festive photo shoot on Saturday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Germantown City Hall, 1930 South Germantown Road.

All house pets are welcome. For a $10 donation, you will receive a 5 minute photo window with Santa and/or the Grinch. Participants must bring their own phone or camera and the Animal Shelter will have elves on hand to help take your photo. All proceeds will go directly to the Friends of the Germantown Animal Shelter. We look forward to seeing you and your pet!
