Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

In a playful, productive and fast-paced workshop designed for families and people of all ages and abilities, we will create alphabet letters with the human body! The workshop begins with a Pilobolus warm-up and exploration of principles of collaborative creativity and partnering basics. Then teaching artists will guide participants to work together to create the human alphabet. Participants will receive a discount code for the public performance of Pilobolus re: CREATION on October 26.
