Western Gateway Public Design Charette

On February 25, the City of Germantown will publicly kick-off the development of the Poplar Avenue Small Area Plan. This multi-faceted planning effort is intended to guide growth and development along the city’s western gateway corridor for the next 20 years. The City invites area businesses, residents, property owners and interested community groups to actively participate in this exciting process.

Kickoff Presentation and Public Workshop
The event will feature a “food for thought” presentation to educate participants on best practices in traditional urban design, transportation, redevelopment, zoning, and preserving community character. It will include a hands-on design session where community residents, business and property owners, stakeholders, and City officials work together to create a vision for Germantown’s western gateway corridor.
