Who Are We?
The Engineering Department, comprising four divisions – Civil Engineering, Construction Inspection, Capital Improvement Program (CIP), and Geographic Information Services (GIS), focuses on the goal of delivering quality technical support and service for both internal and external customers in all our operations. The team focuses on executing primary responsibilities, while supporting interdepartmental demands, and serving our community’s residents, businesses, and infrastructure needs.
This is primarily accomplished through the planning, design, review and approval for engineering project management, design and construction. This also includes maintenance of infrastructure data management, record document retention, construction inspection of all private and public development, stormwater management, engineering permitting, applicable ordinance administration and enforcement, public official and commission support, and public relations for engineering and construction initiatives throughout the community.
