Residents of the state of Tennessee are entitled to inspect and request copies of City records. The Tennessee Public Records Act is found in Tennessee Code Annotated 10-7-101 and the sections that follow it. Pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-503 (g), every governmental entity subject to the Tennessee Public Records Act (“TPRA”) (Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-501 et seq.) must establish a written public policy that has been properly adopted by the appropriate governing authority by July I, 2017.

For open records requests involving fire and EMS reports, forms must be submitted to Kelly White at 2700 Cross Country Drive. For more information, email Kelly White or call (901) 751-7600.
For open records requests involving court records, forms must be submitted to Billy Price at 1930 S. Germantown Road. For more information, email Bill Price or call (901) 751-5690.
All other open records requests must be submitted to City Clerk Michele Betty at 1930 S. Germantown Road. For more information, email Michele Betty or call (901) 757-7251.
The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security provides access to traffic crash reports from law enforcement agencies across the state through PurchaseTNcrash.gov.
