Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Pre-registration is required no later than July 3
Age:    Girls and boys 5 to 9, 9:30 to 11 a.m
           Girls and boys 10 to 17, 8 to 9:30 a.m.
           Girls only, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The junior golf school is open to youth who are interested in learning golf in a fun and enjoyable setting. Iron play, chipping, putting, driving, course knowledge and etiquette will be covered. Instruction is provided by GCC professional staff of Keith Penke and Casey Cass. Each age group is limited to the first 18 students to register.
