Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Dogwood seedlings are available to residents who show proof of residency with a utility bill and valid driver license. All seedlings are Tennessee grown and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Discount coupons for the Farm Park Fruit Tree Sale will be available for the first 100 customers. The Germantown Tree Board, Beautification and Parks and Recreation Commissions present the event. The rain date is March 8. In the event of inclement weather, call 751-5669 for details on event status.
