Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Council Of Neighborhood Associations Meeting

Guest Speaker: Paul Chandler, Executive Director of the Germantown Performing Arts Center The mission of the Germantown Performing Arts Center (GPAC) is to serve the community by presenting the highest quality artistic endeavors to engage, enrich, and transform. Opened in 1994, GPAC immediately became a place where excellence is the norm and where the world would come to perform. Currently in their 19th season, GPAC presents world renowned performing artists in a variety of genres, year round educational activities for all ages including the GPAC Youth Symphony Orchestra, rotating visual art exhibits and many community events welcoming over 70,000 visitors annually. Come join us as Mr. Chandler highlights the upcoming shows and what all GPAC does for the greater metro area and neighborhoods’ like ours. Other reports will include: A. Mayor’s report B.
