Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

REACH offers healthy choices for expanding creativity, learning new skills and having fun with friends. Structured to be beneficial for students and convenient for parents, the program challenges students to REACH for something more. Each class meets twice per week for three weeks at each school. February 18 to March 6, 3 to 4:30 p.m., register by February 12
Session II: Riverdale Elementary
March 18 to April 3, 3 to 4:30 p.m., register by March 5
Session II: Dogwood Elementary
April 8 to April 24, 4 to 5:30 p.m., register by April 2
