Meetings

The Tree Board meets bi-monthly (as needed) at noon at the Parks and Recreation office, 2276 West Street. The Tree Board does not meet in June or July.

Members

The Tree Board consists of seven members and includes at-large member Chairman Michael Shelton, at-large member Sarah Barton, At-large member Jessica Seidner, Parks & Recreation Commission Liaison Kevin Young, Neighborhood Preservation Commission Liaison Gerald Wilson, Design Review Commission Liaison Paul Bruns, Beautification Commission Liaison Albert Pope, Planning Commission Liaison Jennifer Sission as well as Alderman Scott Sanders, Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Caleb Marcum, Planning Staff Liaison Sarah Goralewski and Staff Support Teresa Martin.

Enjoy the summer and discover new favorite reads with a brown bag picnic in the park. Bring your lunch and relax as we read you a story or pass around a book to read aloud together. Drinks, picnic blankets and chairs will be provided. Meet in the wooded area to the north of the library building. Each meeting will feature a different genre. The picnic will move indoors to the library in case of inclement weather. Call 757-7323 for more information.
