REACH Mini-Camps

REACH for something more this summer and sign up for one of the new enrichment camps offered through Germantown Parks and Recreation. Creative Art Lab

Monday to Friday, July 21 to 25, 9 a.m. to noon

Ages: Kindergarten to fifth grade

Fee: $175

Get ready for a week of complete creative control. Campers enjoy five days of sketching, sculpting, painting and creating 3-D and recycled art. Instructors show examples and techniques for each project, then encourage children to use their own idea and techniques as they experiment with a wide variety of materials to discover their own artistic style. Snack time, games and indoor/outdoor play are a part of each day. A free hour of supervised lunch will be provided for participants who also enroll in the afternoon Groovy Girls program. Campers provide their own lunch.
