Living Landscape Series

Ecological Functions in the Landscape

Back by popular demand, Strawberry Plains Audubon Center staff will teach students to build home landscapes and gardens from the canopy to the roots.  With a focus on native plants, along with the vision for a healthier living space, students will start with the tree canopy and work their way down to herbaceous plants.  Discussions will highlight individual plants, their site requirements and aesthetics qualities, including their benefits to wildlife.  Students may attend the entire series or choose individual classes.  The series will culminate in field trips to mature native landscapes and to Strawberry Plains Audubon Center.  Click here for a registration form.  For more information, call 757-7378 or email jroberts@germantown-tn.gov.
