Special recreation activities are offered year round and are designed for those with intellectual or physical challenges and their friends and family. We offer a wide range of activities for participants to choose from including social and enrichment opportunities as well as sports. ArtSavvy: Fantasy Fiction Panel Discussion

wizard EarthseaJoin the conversation about wizards, wizard schools, dragons and adventure. Hear local fantasy author Barry Wolverton and fellow enthusiasts of the fantasy genre in a rousing discussion of A Wizard of Earthsea and other fantasy fiction, like Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Game of Thrones and more. Other panelists include Houston High School teacher Natalie Parker-Lawrence and MSO musician Joey Salvalaggio. Fantasy-themed refreshments will be served.
