Active Aging programs are for Germantown residents who are 50 years and older. 

If you are interested in meeting new people, socializing with old friends, participating in our weekly activities or taking a trip to interesting places, then the Germantown 50+ Group is for you! All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. ArtSavvy: Fantasy Fiction Panel Discussion

wizard EarthseaJoin the conversation about wizards, wizard schools, dragons and adventure. Hear local fantasy author Barry Wolverton and fellow enthusiasts of the fantasy genre in a rousing discussion of A Wizard of Earthsea and other fantasy fiction, like Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Game of Thrones and more. Other panelists include Houston High School teacher Natalie Parker-Lawrence and MSO musician Joey Salvalaggio. Fantasy-themed refreshments will be served.
