Active Aging programs are for Germantown residents who are 50 years and older. 

If you are interested in meeting new people, socializing with old friends, participating in our weekly activities or taking a trip to interesting places, then the Germantown 50+ Group is for you! All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. Big Read Workshop to Create Staged Reading of A Wizard of Earthsea

wizard EarthseaBased on the reading of the book, workshop participants will collaborate in preparing dialogue of selected scenes from the book for Germantown's Big Read final event - A Staged Reading of A Wizard of Earthsea. GCT staff will guide participants through the creative artistic process over the course of four workshops, Saturdays, October 17 and 31 and November 7 and 14.
