Special recreation activities are offered year round and are designed for those with intellectual or physical challenges and their friends and family. We offer a wide range of activities for participants to choose from including social and enrichment opportunities as well as sports. Big Read Edible Book Contest

wizard EarthseaAll ages are invited to show off their creative cakes and other edible creations during the Edible Book Contest. Create a totally edible artwork inspired by a favorite fantasy book and bring it to the library to show off.

Awards will be presented in several categories, including a special category for creations based on the 2015Big Read selection, A Wizard of Earthsea. Required pre-registration begins September 17 at the Library. Call 757-READ (7323).
