Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request from MAC’s Convenience Stores LLC for a permit to sell beer for off-premise consumption from the following stores:
Circle K – 1351 Germantown Rd.
Circle K – 9113 Winchester Rd.

Ordinance 2017-2 – Year-end Budget Adjustments – Second Reading
Ordinance 2017-3 - Real & Personalty Property Tax – Second Reading. The certified tax rate as defined by T.C.A. 67-5-1701 is $1.76 per $100.00 of assessed valuation. Ordinance 2017-3 will exceed the certified rate by $0.23 and establish a proposed tax levy of $1.99 per $100.00 of assessed valuation for the year 2017.
