Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

PUBLIC HEARING 
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Germantown will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 23, 2017, at 6:00 p.m., in the Germantown City Hall Council Chambers to discuss the following:

• Approval of an Outline Plan for the Goodwin Farms Planned Unit Development (Resolution number 17R19), located on the north side of Winchester Rd., 1,000 ft. from Crestwyn Drive

• Revocation of the Gardena Court Planned Unit Development (Resolution number 17R20), located on the North side of Winchester Road, abutting the Town of Collierville’s city limit

• Approval of an Outline Plan for the Viridian Planned Unit Development (Resolution number 17R22), located on the north side of Winchester Road, abutting the Town of Collierville’s city limit

 PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Germantown Education Foundation has requested for their event, Germantown Oktoberfest, a temporary beer permit for on-premise consumption at the Germantown Civic Complex, 7745 Poplar Pike, for Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. 

This request will be considered by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, sitting as a Beer Board, at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting on Monday, October 23, 2017, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
