All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. Pops in the Park Concert

Pops in the Park, the annual concert sponsored by the City of Germantown is Saturday, Sept. 16 at 5:30 at the Kiwanis Pavilion at Municipal Park. The program, “Heroes and Villains,” features music from pop culture, movies, and musical theater, and includes performances by the Houston High School Choruses and Germantown High School Choruses.

The GSO is now in its 42nd season and is the community orchestra in residence at GPAC.  It is funded in part by a grant from the GPAC Arts Education Fund. Concertgoers can pack a picnic, bring a blanket and chairs and spread out on the grounds at Germantown’s Municipal Park to enjoy the free concert!  For more information, contact Timothy Steiner at 757-7382 or TSteiner@Germantown-TN.gov. In the event of inclement weather, call 757-5669 for details on event status.
