Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

A request will be considered by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen on Ordinance No. 2018-5 - Rezoning of the Reaves-Schaeffer Property (3258 Forest Hill Irene Road and 9190 Winding Oak Way) from “C-1” Neighborhood Commercial and “RE-1” Residential Estate to “R” Residential Zoning at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting on Monday, March 12, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Anyone wishing to speak for or against this request is invited to attend this meeting.
