Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

  • Introduction: During the month of November, Eric Newsome, executive director of the Germantown Community Theatre, is hosting a number of informational sessions to lay out the journey that the GCT has been through and where it stands today.
During the month of November, Eric Newsome, executive director of the Germantown Community Theatre, is hosting a number of informational sessions to lay out the journey that the GCT has been through and where it stands today. The goal of these sessions is to provide an unprecedented amount of transparency and information after an air of uncertainty and doubt that has surrounded the theatre over the last few years. The sessions will consist of a estimated 30-minute presentation, followed by a thorough question and answer segment. Wine and light snacks will be available.
