Active Aging programs are for Germantown residents who are 50 years and older.

If you are interested in meeting new people, socializing with old friends, participating in our weekly activities or taking a trip to interesting places, then the Germantown 50+ Group is for you! All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. Mousetail Landing Backpacking Trip

Join Parks and Recreation on a guided backpacking trip at Mousetail Landing State Park! Enjoy the scenic Tennessee River overlooks and back country trails on this Ranger led hike. The hike will be led by Park Ranger Keith Paluso (also a contestant on The Voice!) Hikers must supply all of their personal equipment and provisions. Transportation is provided. Register online at Germantown-TN.gov/Registration. Fee is $50 per person.
