50+ Active Aging

Active Aging programs are for Germantown residents who are 50 years and older. 

If you are interested in meeting new people, socializing with old friends, participating in our weekly activities or taking a trip to interesting places, then the Germantown 50+ Group is for you! All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. Events and Programs 
 The Germantown Parks and Recreation 50+ Coordinator works diligently to plan and coordinate several events and programs throughout the year. For more information about upcoming programs and events, see below or visit Germantown-TN.gov/Calendar.

Flower House

The whimsical two-day Flower House event at Oaklawn Garden is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Saturday, November 3. These mesmerizing and lavish floral displays are sure to leave you in awe.

Tickets are $15 and available at FlowerHouseAtOaklawnGarden.com. You can also view a full list of educational programs and workshops put on by some of the region's top floral designers. To reserve your spot in one of the workshops, please call the Parks and Recreation office at (901) 757-7375.
