Active Aging programs are for Germantown residents who are 50 years and older.

If you are interested in meeting new people, socializing with old friends, participating in our weekly activities or taking a trip to interesting places, then the Germantown 50+ Group is for you! All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. If you have any questions or would like to register for a program, contact Jennie Gould at JGould@Germantown-TN.gov or at (901) 757-7375.

Indian Cuisine

Indian Cuisine

Have you tried mouth-watering curries and other Indian dishes at restaurants and wanted to learn how to make them yourself?  Now is your chance.  Learn how to use various spices and cooking techniques by watching dishes prepared in front of you.  You'll get to ask questions and even taste the food.  Everyone will leave with printed recipes.  The class is free, but pre-registration is required.  Register online at Germantown-TN.gov/Register or call (901) 757-7375.

NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
