Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Germantown will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 25, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., in the Germantown City Hall Council Chambers to discuss:

  • Approval of an Amendment to the Subdivision Ordinance Chapter 17-60 – Parkland Dedication (Ordinance Number 2019-07).
  • Approval of an Amendment to the Vegetation Ordinance Chapter 22 – Tree Preservation and Planting Requirements (Ordinance Number 2019-08)
  •  Approval of Amendments to Chapter 2, Article VI, Division 2 - Purchasing (Ordinance Number 2019-9.)
