50+ Active Aging

Active Aging programs are for Germantown residents who are 50 years and older. 

If you are interested in meeting new people, socializing with old friends, participating in our weekly activities or taking a trip to interesting places, then the Germantown 50+ Group is for you! All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. Events and Programs 
 The Germantown Parks and Recreation 50+ Coordinator works diligently to plan and coordinate several events and programs throughout the year. For more information about upcoming programs and events, see below or visit Germantown-TN.gov/Calendar.

Earth Day Photo Contest!

This year we're celebrating Earth Day in style! Grab your camera and head to one of the Gtown parks, snap a photo, and send it our way to enter the Earth Day photo contest. 

Grand Prize Winner will receive 2 tickets ($100 value) to one of our Ghost River kayaking trips.

Runner Up will receive a prize package from our adventure partners at REI ($50 value)! 

 

Contest Rules:

*Photo must be taken at a Germantown Park with location listed

*Must be a landscape/natural photo

*Must be taken within park hours

*Photos should be submitted to Ranger Lindsay at LDolan@Germantown-TN.gov by 11:59 p.m. April 21. Winners will be announced April 22.
