Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.
Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.
Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

March 9, 2020
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Germantown will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 9, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., in the Germantown City Hall Council Chambers to discuss the following:
• Approval of an Amended Outline Plan for the Thornwood Mixed Use Planned Development (Resolution number 20R03), located at the northeast corner of Neshoba and South Germantown Roads

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Germantown will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 9, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., in the Germantown City Hall Council Chambers to discuss the following:
• Ordinance 2020-05 – Rezoning of a 7.46-acre piece of property at 9695 Poplar Ave. from “O” Office to “RE” Residential Estate.
