Active Aging programs are for Germantown residents who are 50 years and older.

If you are interested in meeting new people, socializing with old friends, participating in our weekly activities or taking a trip to interesting places, then the Germantown 50+ Group is for you! All activities take place at the Pickering Center, 7771 Poplar Pike, unless otherwise noted. Protect yourself from the latest scams. Program presenters will share alarming news of how scams and fraud have targeted seniors. Topics include types of scams, how to discover scoundrels, how to protect yourself and how to report scams. There will be time for questions following each presentation. Attendance is limited to 100 people with lunch provided. Come early for coffee. Call 757-7375 to reserve your spot for the free event sponsored by the Senior Advisory Commision.
