Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

October 19, 2019 

  • The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request for a beer permit from Desai Hotel Group, LLC to sell beer for on-premise consumption at Hilton Garden Inn and Home 2 Suites, located at 6811 TraVure Drive South.
  • The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request from Heart & Soul Catering for a temporary beer permit to sell beer for on-premise consumption at the Shelby County Republican Party Fundraiser to be held at the Great Hall & Conference Center, on Friday, October 23, 2020, from 4:30 until midnight.  

PUBLIC HEARING 
To participate in the Public Hearing, please send your submittals, 500 words or less, to beerboardhearing@germantown-tn.gov and include your name, address and phone number. All emails submitted between Wednesday at 12 pm before the meeting and 12 pm the day of the meeting will be delivered to the Board prior to the 3 pm Beer Board meeting. These emails will be included in the agenda packet and available for the public to view at 3 p.m.
