Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold a public hearing to discuss Approval of an Outline Plan for the Glasgow Planned Unit Development (Resolution number 21R14), located at 1780 Kimbrough Road. If you have any questions concerning this matter, contact Planning Division staff at 901-751-5681.

The City of Germantown is in receipt of a request from the Germantown Festival Association for a temporary beer permit to sell beer for on-premise consumption at the 2021 Germantown Festival, to be held on Saturday, September 11, from 9:30 until 6 p.m.  and on Sunday, September 12, from noon until 6 p.m. at the Germantown Civic Club Complex. This request will be considered by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, sitting as a Beer Board, at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Anyone wishing to speak for or against this request is invited to attend this meeting.
