Germantown Festival - CANCELED

The Germantown Festival Committee recently announced that the 2021 Festival, scheduled for September 11 and 12, has been cancelled. The cancellation is due to the surge in active COVID-19 cases within Shelby County and the Committee’s concern with public safety. The Festival routinely draws in a crowd of approximately 50,000 visitors and resulting public safety regulations involving social distancing, masks and sanitizing requirements that would be impossible to ensure. This difficult decision was not made lightly and through consultation from local health officials, the Germantown Festival Committee ultimately remains committed to the public health and safety of the community. 

While this year’s Festival will not be going on as planned, the Committee is hopeful that the Germantown Festival will be able to return better than ever on September 10 and 11, 2022. Vendors who have already paid their registration fees for 2021 have been offered the option to have their payments roll over for the 2022 Festival or receive refunds.
