Purpose
The Neighborhood Preservation Commission strives to promote and preserve the integrity of residential neighborhoods and foster a sense of community in them.

Meetings
Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at Germantown City Hall, 1930 S. Germantown Road.

Members
The commission consists of 12 members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and includes Chairman Ellen Bernstein, Cheron Allbright, Scott Balentine, Brian Everson, Peter Ganavazos, Allison Holden, Shawn Lane, Whitney Lane, Matthew May, Adrienne Pakis-Gillon, Marissa Rogers, Gerald Wilson, Staff Support Erinn Figg and Alderman Mary Anne Gibson.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
March 28, 2022

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Germantown will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m., to discuss approval of a Combined Outline Plan and Final Plan for the Viridian Planned Development (Resolution 22R07), located at 9660 Winchester Rd. If you have any questions concerning this matter, contact Planning Division staff at 901-757-7273.  

The City is in receipt of a request for a permit from Wolf River Hospitality Group to sell beer for on-premise consumption at Limelight, located at 7724 Poplar Pike. This request will be considered by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, sitting as a Beer Board, at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting on Monday, March 28, 2022, at 6 p.m. Anyone for or against this beer permit request is invited to attend.

The City is in receipt of a request for a temporary beer permit from The Grand Krewe of PTAH  to sell beer for on-premise consumption at the Black Tie and Tennis Shoe Ball, to be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 7 pm until 11 pm at the Great Hall & Conference Center, located at 1900 S. Germantown Road. This request will be considered by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, sitting as a Beer Board, at a Board of Mayor and Aldermen Meeting on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 6 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall. Anyone wishing to speak for or against this request is invited to attend this meeting.
