GYSP Spring Concert: March On

4 p.m.: Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Carol Chipman & GPAC Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Schallert

6 p.m.: Mozart String Ensemble under the direction of Ms. Britta Hall & Mendelssohn String Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Alex Perry

Graduations. Deadlines. Outcomes. Our society seems hyper focused on the product and often tends to overlook the process and journey that takes place before we reach our destinations. The GPAC Youth Symphony Program hopes to embrace and live into those journeys when we present our spring concerts titled “March On.” Utilizing pieces written by Berlioz, Bizet, Stravinsky, and others, the talented students of the GPAC Youth Symphony Program hope to demonstrate how music marches on and constantly carries us through the journey of life.
